This is, in my opinion, a must read for all parents. Richard Louv does such a comprehensive job of piecing together how growing up has changed, and it's impact on the disturbing childhood trends we are seeing today in physical and emotional health. He articulates so succinctly what we know is happening, but didn't quite know how to express. Showing the correlation from historical data and research, he makes a compelling argument for how crucial it is we change the future now. He wittingly names the ill of our time "Nature Deficit Disorder" and prescribes nature as it's antidote. This book is definitely worth the read. It was the inspiration for much of the work I do today.
