There is real science that confirms that spending time in nature can improve mood and blood pressure. You don't even have to leave the city and run away to the woods to benefit. While it is true that it can be very healthy to take a vacation and immerse yourself in nature, you can also benefit from just bringing in houseplants to your living room or place one on your desk at work. You can start small, but incorporating nature into your daily life will improve your physical and mental health. Spend more time in parks and wild areas whenever possible. Take walks among the trees. Sit on the earth. Breathe.
